The mission of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) is:
To bring together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support, and national recognition.
Last year, ABWA celebrated 66 years of changing women’s lives. As a local “League” of ABWA, New-Roc ABWA needs your support to continue our mission in the Newton/Rockdale area.
The purpose of New-Roc is to provide a venue for professional women to come together at least once a month during the lunch hour so that they can learn from experts, network with career-focused women, and gain support as they develop themselves personally and professionally.
A core value of New-Roc and all of ABWA is the emphasis on giving to others. As such, dues that individual members pay annually and monies received from those who choose to “Partner” with New-Roc ABWA not only ensure we provide the highest quality monthly educational luncheons, but that we can provide “Business Skills Training Reimbursement” to our members as well as “Outright Grants” to women pursuing their BA and MA, just to name some of what these dollars support.
Almost all of our funds come from individuals and corporate “Partners”. In order to continuing serving women and fulfill the ABWA mission and New-Roc vision, we are in need of additional funds. You can help by taking advantage of our “Partner Program”, which includes event tickets, opportunities to speak and website & social media exposure for you or your business. We have three (3) Partnership opportunities to choose from.
If you would like to become a Partner of New-Roc ABWA, please select one of the programs above and contact: Anthony Thomas @ 404-710-8341.
We hope you will be excited about the opportunity to support an organization that helps women grow personally and professionally at the local level.
